guitar capo, 2017
The capos on the market can be divided into two categories: spring-loaded ones, which are quick to place but cause the instrument to detune due to excessive pressure, and those with adjustable tension, which require a longer time for positioning. The aim was to design a capo which could be quick to insert, precise in adjusting the tension and could also minimize the number of parts and production costs.

The perfect capo
We already have the perfect capo: the finger. It is easy to place and the pressure and curvature are always ideal. The first step was trying to extend the capabilities of the finger, designing a “prosthesis” with similar sensitivity and effectiveness.

How does it work
The locking mechanism is similar to reversible zip ties (ratchet system with release): the tension can be adjusted by squeezing the capo with the fingers and released by pressing on the release flap.
