Design and manufacture of a brochure. We imagined working for MUJI as we were interested in designing a corporate brochure for a brand that does not label products with its own logo, leaving room for the quality of materials and manufacturing.
Material selection
Papers and fabrics have been selected for their tactile properties in order to make a quality product. The colours reflect the palette of the brand.
The brochure
The result is a 20x14 cm brochure - traditional format called chūhon -, with a finnboard and cotton cover, a red cotton dusk jacket and xuan paper pages. The brochure was hand-bound with nori-ire gajō technique, also known as accordion binding.
